Cassoulet

So, this morning I was watching Jamie Oliver's 30 Minute Meals in bed. This episode featured cassoulet, a wonderful shredded salad and some raspberry-lemon curd pavlovas. YUM! So this evening, I did not re-create it all, just the cassoulet. So good!

Here's the recipe: http://www.jamieoliver.com/recipes/pork-recipes/quick-time-sausage-cassoulet

What I did differently:
- used whatever beans I could find in the store: white kidney (cannellini) and navy beans (haricot, which is coincidentally the French word for bean - could be kinda confusing).
- used fresh crimini mushrooms
- marjoram instead of thyme (cuz I didn't have any)
- used regular pork sausages as I don't know if we have chipolata sausages
- cut the recipe by about 1/3 - 1/2.
- no carrot or celery, bay leaves or red wine (largely because I wasn't reading the recipe too closely)
- I used a fresh baguette for bread crumbs, using my food processor, into which I mixed herbs

Served with the rest of the baguette. Man, this is sooooo good.
